KEY PARTNERS & PURVEYORS
Stonecipher Farms
Ian Jerolmack and his crew grow organic produce for our restaurants and others in the Portland area. We love Stonecipher because Ian is always willing to try new crops and different seed varietals. Also, his fava beans are to die for.

Green Spark Farm
Mary Ellen and Austin Chadd have been a part of our restaurants' menus since the get-go. We love their selection of fresh early-season herbs, and their summer tomatoes and melons cannot be beat.
website
Bumbleroot Organic Farm
Team Bumbleroot's success stands as a model for young farmers in Maine. We're psyched to be working with them: they grow consistently beautiful vegetables and we sometimes throw parties at their farm.
website
South Paw Farm
Meg, Ryan, and Lyra grow some of the most consistently beautiful produce in the state. Their land has been actively farmed since the 1800s (most recently by Dan and Ginger of Freedom Farms). We can't wait to see what happens when their orchards start to bear fruit! There's clearly some magic in that soil.

Steelbow Farm
Finegan and Ben are super-cool, wicked-organized, and their vegetables are incandescent. Steelbow is an awesome new addition to the Maine farming scene.
website
American Unagi
Sara Rademaker has disrupted an absurdly inefficient system wherein glass eels are caught in Maine, shipped to Asia, grown to market-size, and processed before shipping across the globe. Sara accomplishes all of it, right here in Maine. Her eels are clean and delicious, with a minimal carbon footprint.
website
Browne Trading Co.
The Browne Trading team provides us with some of the sharpest fish money can buy. The team at Browne introduces us to amazing products every year. And we're proud to help make use of under-utilized cuts from some amazing local fish, like cod and bluefin tuna.
website
Upstream Trucking
George Parr and his crew have been an indispensable part of our restaurants. Whether we are in need of ice, fish, or oysters, George is there for us. He knows the Maine fish trade better than anybody, and he is not too shy to remind us.
website
Harbor Fish Market
Harbor Fish Market provides our restaurants with an array of local seafood, everything from oysters to swordfish. We rely on Harbor for many of our menu staples in addition to some rarities: where else could we go for butterfish?
website
Maine Lobster Direct
Lee and the team at Maine Lobster Direct have made brown butter lobster rolls at Eventide and crab wonton soup at The Honey Paw possible. Responding to the improbable, but not infrequent, desperate call for 'just one more delivery today,' Maine Lobster Direct always comes through for us.
website
Allagash Brewing Company
Rob Tod and Allagash Brewing Company are a source of inspiration for all of us. Their beers are fantastic and they're fantastic collaborators. If there's ever an opportunity to work with Allagash, we seize it.
website
Oxbow Brewing Company
Tim Adams and the Oxbow crew make delicious beer right around the corner. We've foraged mushrooms at their brewery in Newcastle, held a beer release party at The Honey Paw, and even thrown a Super Bowl party, "OxBowl," at Eventide and in their taproom. They know how to make tasty beer cheaper than it is fancy and they know how to have a good time.
website
Bunker Brewing Co.
Chresten Sorensen's beers are great, his marketing is hilarious, and without him, none of us would have ever been sprayed with piping-hot wort. We collaborated on an oyster stout, The Dirty Pearl, and we've thrown a few parties together. It's hard to imagine Portland food culture without Bunker Brewing.
